Off the Friendly Quay

I’ve recently been working a lot and most days, what’s left of the remainder of time left, I just want to spend it sleeping and resting. It’s such a blessing to be working so close to my best friend’s office because that means I have ample opportunities to meet her and catch up. This afternoon was one of the much freer days I had when we could lunch before heading out to work in town. Of course since it’s been the fasting month so far, Pea and I caught up while taking a walk in the crazy heat down Robertson Quay. If anyone could direct me for a shoot, no one does it better than Pea does. Pea’s the kind of person that walks into a room and you can literally feel the whole energy boost up to 1000 watts. I’m not sure how she does it but her energy is contagious. 

For the past month, since work requires me to walk an insane amount (think walking from one end of Orchard to another, back and forth), bend over to pack and unpack and be exposed to the sun 89%  of the time, my daily staples are sunblock, sunglasses, comfortable footwear and a huge but lightweight bag. Oh, and if you do see me around town with a huge trolley bag struggling with bags in my hand, please don’t stare and laugh. I could use a smile and I’m really trying my very best to rock that trolley.
